Owner of Bound Studio, performer, and shibari instructor, Mr. Somerset has been practicing shibari since 2018. His work is defined by technical elegance, dynamic flow, and a practice of body movement that transforms rope into dance. Each tie becomes an exploration of energy and presence, where precision meets passion.

His journey has taken him to Japan for training at the source, while also committing himself to a rigorous self-study through books, online resources, and years of daily practice. This deep dedication to the craft has shaped his unique style—blending traditional foundations with a personal pursuit of artistry and flow.

As a professional shibari educator for the past two years, he has shared his expertise with both students and audiences alike, teaching that rope is not just a technical skill but a shared experience with the person in your care. His philosophy is simple yet profound: tie the person, not the ropes.
