As a leading Japanese rope specialist, Hajme excels at pop interpretations and sublimation into art. His unique works, which involve binding nature (trees, rocks, etc.) and even space, have been particularly acclaimed. In recent years, in addition to performances, he also actively presents artwork using photography and video, handling everything from the shibari to photography and direction. One of his signature works, the “Red” series, holds the theme of “connection” and the message that humans are never alone.
He has given performances and workshops in Japan and around the world, including Paris, London, Rome, Berlin, Sydney, Melbourne, Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles, Taipei, Shanghai, and other cities, earning him international recognition.
